Week of July 9 – 12  

— Biology & Gardening -- Careers & Composting & Worms - Build a compost house, build a worm farm  Fee:  $165

— Ecology & Science -- Careers & Geology - Who Moved the Beach, Fossils & Rocks, Identify Signs of Beach Erosion. Fee:  $165

— Creative Arts -- Ballroom Dance - Learn basic ballroom dance skills and gain an understanding of rhythm and how music relates to movement.  Fee:  $165

Tours: Optional                    — Trip to Local Beach (Birch Bay State Park) — July 12  San Juan Kayak Trip.  Cost: $72

 Afternoon Sessions

— July 11 9 am - 3:30pm  Only. All Day First Aid & CPR Certification -- Hands on class for teens teaching American Heart Assoc. first aid basics. Cost:  $58

— Land Navigation -- Using a Compass & Pace Count, Map Reading, Orienteering & GeoCache Course  Cost:  $102

— Biology & Gardening -- Water Cycle - Whatcom County drinking water, value of safe water, WA state water ways Cost: $165 

— Ecology & Science -- Birds, Wildlife, & Fish Cost: - NW Bird Identification, Coastal and wildlife and fish, etc. Cost:  $165

— Creative Arts -- Artist Trading Cards - Students will be taught a number of artistic techniques using watercolor and acrylic paints, paper, and mixed media to create an 2 1/2” x 3 1/2” artist trading card.  Cost:  $165

  — Creative Arts -- Drama - Students learn more about themselves and introduces them to the basics of acting, and continue to develop existing acting skills.  Fee:  $165

— Engineering & Science - Careers & Buoyancy: Buoyancy Dive In, Physics of underwater diving, The Science of Hot Air Balloon, History of Hot Air Ballooning ,Density, Buoyancy, Behavior of Gasses. Activities : Build Your Own Submarine, Submarine Testing, Buoyancy, pressure, & light experiments, Tissue Paper Hot Air Balloon   Cost:  $165
